Usually, the IP address or the URL of the affected system and a description of the vulnerability will be sufficient. But complex vulnerabilities may require further explanation.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container max-width-xl content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please don&#8217;t do the following:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container max-width-xl content\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reveal the vulnerability or problem to others until it has been resolved.<\/li><li>Take advantage of the vulnerability or problem you have discovered, for example by downloading more data than necessary to demonstrate the vulnerability or deleting or modifying other people\u2019s data.<\/li><li>Build your own backdoor in an information system with the intention of then using it to demonstrate the vulnerability, because doing so can cause additional damage and create unnecessary security risks.<\/li><li>Use brute force attacks, attacks on physical security, social engineering, distributed denial of service, spam or applications of third parties to gain access to the system.<\/li><li>Repeatedly gain access to the system or share access with others.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container max-width-xl content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What we promise:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container max-width-xl content\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We will respond to your report within five business days with our evaluation of the report and an expected resolution date.<\/li><li>If you have followed the instructions above, we will not take any legal action against you concerning the report.<\/li><li>We will handle your report with strict confidentiality, and not pass on your personal details to third parties without your permission, unless it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation. Reporting under a pseudonym or anonymous is possible.<\/li><li>We will keep you informed of the progress towards resolving the problem.<\/li><li>In the public information concerning the reported problem, we will give your name as the discoverer of the problem (unless you desire otherwise).<\/li><li>As thanks for your help, we offer a reward for every report of a vulnerability that was not yet known to us.
